Discovered just recently. Huge moo2 fan. Was reluctant to get my hopes up with any clone. However, after getting SO and playing for a few days I can say that its in many respects better than moo2 while maintaining amazing resemblance. Why two stars? Cant complete a game on Small Impossible due to constant crashes mid game. Tried bigger than Small and it was crashing even more often. Easy to average levels possible to complete but AI is too weak to present a challenge. Great game but current version severely crippled. Wait.

I was looking for "something like galactic civilization" and this game popped up saying it was like Masters of Orion. A bit old school I thought, but MOO is still one of my fondest gaming memories, so I figured I would read more. The reviews I found were promising, and it seemed like a full game, no in app purchases required. After a few hours of gameplay, what we have here is an incredibly deep, and fun 4x space game for iOS. I have not even tried the multiplayer yet; the single player was exactly the experience I was looking for! Great game.

Reminds me of Galactic Civilizations for PC

The developer continues to make significant improvements to overall game play and balance. The best 4X strategy game on the iphone!

Constant crashes when select larger size or harder AI in single person game. I suspect there are issues with newer IOS compatibility, given that older reviews dont note this problem. Please fix, because this is a great game, if only it would stop crashing.

I play all Civs, moo, botf, spaceward Ho , this game is solid and hi recommend ,the best for iOS even better on iPad.. Find a few buddies and no in app purchase bs, so worth it

Best app game yet! Latest update crashes and takes forever to save. Pls make an option not to make it save sync.

This game is expensive- $8, and so youd expect it to be both stable and fun to play. Unfortunately, it meets only one of these criteria. I was generous in giving it three stars because you can have a relatively smooth and crash free game if you play on a small map with fewer opponents, but as soon as you start making the games harder and more complex the app constantly crashes, sometimes so much so you cant end your turn. I would give 5 stars if this problem was fixed. (I am using Iphone 6 with ios 9.1)

Been playing for a few weeks by taking turns with some nice people on the multiplayer. Super helpful community and Im really enjoying the MoO2 feeling I am getting from this game.

Game constantly crashes. Kills any desire to play. At some point you can not advance anymore.

Best space strategy out there!

I invested a lot of time in this game, but then after it crashed a few times, I just stopped playing. Bummer, its a great game.

I am running IOS 8.4.1 on an IPad 3 and it was fine for a long time but now it crashes all the time...pretty much unplayable....

This game is great! However, I prefer to play against AIs. And herein lies the problem; the late game AI is a joke. They build no ships, they use only lasers. Where are the huge fleet on fleet fights? If you can survive the initial rush, then its game over. Very disappointing. Otherwise this game is a gem. Great graphics, music, very rarely crashes. Just need to work on that AI.

Having burned a lot of hours playing SE IV and V (and I mean a lot), I wanted to find an enjoyable 4X experience. This was a hoot. Part of the fun is learning what each of the little widgets can do - especially those things that seem worthless or at least cryptic the first couple of times that you see them. I hope they keep up the good work.
